Aundreya Edwards

 Aundreya is currently a student athlete at Crown College in St. Bonifacius studying relational and media communications. She was elected as her freshman class representative and flew to Chicago in 2016 to be on the Steve Harvey Show to discuss college culture with other students from across the country. She was also able to intern for PULSE ministries as they planned and put on one of the nation’s largest worship events, Together 2018, in Dallas this past October.  She also started her own young women’s ministry with the intent to inspire and empower young women to live authentically. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, discovering new music, and adventuring to new places. She hopes to one day pursue a career in ministry, news broadcasting, and politics.

Teri Erickson

Teri, who was born in Saint Paul, raised her children in Oakdale, where she loves to help her community. She has been a Girl Scout troop leader, school volunteer, volleyball coach, and a childbirth doula. Teri is also a member of Toastmasters International, which has given her confidence in her communication skills. She has been a hairstylist for over 30 years and believes her experience with client interaction will make her a great ambassador. Teri has always been a proud supporter of the Saint Paul Winter Carnival because of its history, legend, and magic. The site of this year’s carnival is special to Teri. She cherishes a picture of her parents as teenagers at the carnival and hopes that they will be looking over her and wishing her good luck! 

Alyssa Grythe

Alyssa graduated from the University of St. Thomas in May of 2018, where her passion for helping families and children drove her to pursue a degree in social work. She is in the process of applying to law school with hopes to get her J.D. in Law and becoming a family attorney. Growing up in a large family, it has pushed her to want to give back to other families and to help keep them intact and strong. Alyssa is currently the Lead Sales and Service Coordinator at Salon Ultimo in Woodbury. In her spare time, she enjoys being with her family, watching sports like cheerleading, and finding new ways to volunteer in her community. Alyssa likes to coordinate philanthropic events and even tutoring in reading and math. Fun fact! Alyssa has never been on a plane.

Alison, raised in a small Minnesota town, has always been passionate about people and community. She left her hometown to join a community of courageous, strong and bold women at the College of St. Benedict, where she obtained her Bachelor of Arts in Communication and Psychology. Alison’s passion of people led her to make her home in downtown Saint Paul. Currently, she is a Human Resources Representative at Ecolab, where she assists the development of talent by supporting global leadership programs. Watching people grow in their careers and becoming the best possible version of themselves is the most rewarding part of her job. Alison has fallen in love with the tradition, legacy and community of people that is the Saint Paul Winter Carnival. She is committed to carrying on this 133-year-old tradition.

Cathryn is an Associate Chemist at Medtronic.  She has a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry and is currently pursuing a master’s degree in Regulatory Affairs.  Cathryn’s family and friends are very important to her, and she enjoys spending time with them. Upon completion of her degree, she will return to the University of San Diego to obtain an International Certification as a Lactation Consultant. As a Wish Granter for Make-A-Wish, Brooke is able to give back to her community. Brooke enjoys spending time with her two horses, Jewel and Skye along with her mischievous puppy, Orion. She looks forward to her journey of experiencing the Winter Carnival Legend first-hand as a candidate and learning how she can create an impact in the community of Saint Paul.

Growing up in Saint Paul instilled a deep appreciation for community and a passion for helping others in Lauren. She used that passion to pursue a career in pharmacy, granting her the opportunity to care for others across the state. She recently accepted a position as Chief Pharmacist that allowed her to return to the city she loves. Lauren utilizes her platform as a pharmacist to inspire a happier and healthier community by coordinating health fairs and providing education about medication safety. When not in the pharmacy, Lauren loves finding adventures in the world around her. Kelly taught 5th grade in West St. Paul and was Assistant Alumni Director at St. Thomas before moving to Florida where she created her business, Sanibel Studios ~ The Art of Celebration! Becca lives for her city. Whether it’s playing intramural softball or participating in the Polar Plunge, Becca has centered her life and love around Saint Paul. At Northeast Metro 916, she worked as an educational assistant and eventually went on to become an Occupational Therapist. Becca has a Master of Arts in Occupational Therapy from St. Catherine University. Her career took three years of applications, and now, she’s finally living her dream. She eventually wants to participate in Therapists Without Borders and continue her education. Becca recently became an aunt for the first time, and she’s loving pampering the baby. She also loves collecting antiques. Becca hopes to write her own story and really share her love for Saint Paul through the Winter Carnival.
