Royally Flushed Casino Night Recap

On November 16th, The St. Paul Festival and Heritage Foundation hosted their inaugural Casino Night fundraiser. This new event took place at Midpointe Event Center in St. Paul where guests were able to enjoy a modern venue packed to the brim with casino games, silent auction items, and tasty food.

Cards weren’t the only thing guests were betting on. Throughout the night they were able to bid on nearly 50 silent auction items donated by various local businesses and organizations such as the Ordway Center for the Performing Arts, the St. Paul Hotel, Saint Paul Saints Baseball Club, plus many more.  Mug pong, bean bag toss, and an hourly raffle prize offered members plenty of chances to win Winter Carnival gear as well.

Raffle Grand Prizes

  • $250 Cash Prize
  • $250 Gift Card – R.F. Moeller
  • Bed and Breakfast Package – St. Paul Hotel

There was no shortage of food or drink options at the event as vendors lined Midpointe’s Majestic Hall with samples of craft brews, mac n’ cheese, lobster and artichoke dip, etc. The crowd favorite seemed to be the award winning apple crunch with caramel over vanilla ice cream from Aesop’s Table. Royally Flushed guests went home with heavy pockets, and the same thing goes for our friends at Emma Norton’s – a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization actively combating poverty – who took home multiple bags of winter clothing donated by casino guests.

The evening was a great success for the Winter Carnival, and a wonderful opportunity for Carnival friends and community members to connect with one another. The St. Paul Festival and Heritage Foundation would like to give a big thanks to the Klondike Kate’s for their lively performances, Carnival members, volunteers, vendors, and everyone else who helped make Royally Flushed Casino Night a great event!
