Ice Fishing Competition

Anglers, bundle up and prepare your tackle - competing on ice just got a whole lot easier!  The Saint Paul Winter Carnival is excited to present our NEW month-long digital ice fishing competition. You can fish anywhere in the seven-county metro: lakes, ponds, and rivers. Prizes will be given to the top positions of each leaderboard category. 2020 Saint Paul Winter Carnival

It’s the most wonderful time of the year: the 134th Saint Paul Winter Carnival, the “Coolest Celebration on Earth” since 1886. The Winter Carnival continues to bring family-friendly events and community pride to Saint Paul and the Twin Cities metro area.  Most events are FREE and open to the public. The 2020 Multi-Block Ice Carving Competition starts Thursday, January 23 and ends Saturday, January 25. Each team will be given 48 suspenseful hours and several blocks of ice to bring their frozen masterpieces to life.
