Vulcan Victory Torchlight Parade

Vulcanus Rex will use his wily ways to light up the streets of downtown Saint Paul for the Vulcan Victory Torchlight Parade presented by Metropolitan State University. The evening parade route starts at 5th and Wacouta, travel westbound down 5th Street to Washington Avenue to 4th Street and end at Saint Peter. Don't miss this spectacular end to the Saint Paul Winter Carnival.  This fine display of fireworks is launched from Rice Park immediately after the Overthrow of King Boreas which takes place on the James J. Overthrow of Boreas

Immediately following the Torchlight parade, on the steps of the James J. Hill Library near Rice Park. Watch as Vulcanus Rex storms the magnificent "ice" castle and confronts the Royal King's Guard.  Upon the good counsel of the Queen, Boreas waves farewell to the people of his winter capitol and Vulcanus once again rules the land. Fireworks and live music immediately follow in Rice Park.
