Winter Carnival Ice Fishing Competition
The Saint Paul Winter Carnival is excited to present our NEW month-long digital ice fishing competition. You can fish anywhere in the seven-county metro: lakes, ponds, and rivers. Prizes will be given to the top positions of each leaderboard category. Eligible fish are limited to the seven-county metro in an attempt to master the local bite. All fish entered in the tournament will be photographed, measured, recorded with the FishDonkey app. How to Enter a Fish.
A reminder to include at least two photos. Please include: one pic of you holding the fish and one pic of the fish on a rigid measuring board (not a tape measure). There’s a selfie button in the app. Please review the rules available in the app under the ” i ” button. The tournament fee is $10.00.

Minnesota State Snow Sculpting Competition
Friday-Sunday, January 24-26, 2020
The three-day competition provides artists an opportunity to show off their talents, win prizes, and represent Minnesota at the U.S. National Snow Sculpting Competition. Teams of 1-3 members transform 8′ x 8′ x 8′ blocks of snow into works of art using only hand tools. Entry deadline is January 8; space is limited to 20 teams.
