Please join us at the Ambassadors’ Spring Fundraiser, the Red vs. Blue Bartender Challenge. Come support your favorite Winter Carnival characters as they battle for the title of Greatest Bartender in the Realm! Watch the competitors go head-to-head in five grueling rounds that will put their talents and their charm to the test.
Show your allegiance to Red or Blue by tipping your favorite bartender(s). The tips will be totaled at the end of each round. The bartenders with the most tips on either side will compete in the Championship Round to determine the winner of the challenge.
Only one side can win! Who will you choose?
In its 12th year, the event brings hundreds of local residents to White Bear Lake County Park at Ramsey Beach on the frozen shores of White Bear Lake to enjoy an afternoon of golf on ice. An 18-hole course, complete with real pine trees, a hospitality tent, food and entertainment make it a great way to have fun and raise money for charity. There is also a Community Dance the night before the event at the White Bear Country Inn.

Saint Paul Festival and Heritage Foundation wrapped up their biggest annual fundraiser, Spirits of Carnival, Wednesday, May 16th with over 300 guests and more than 30 vendors in participation. The night kicked off at 5 p.m. with food, beer and wine samples from the Twin Cities’ most sought-after restaurants. The annual event took place in Hangar 300 at the Saint Paul Flight Center, where guests were able to enjoy food and beverage samples while enjoying the fresh air and sunlight pouring in the hangar doors.
An attendee favorite, the auctions (both silent and live) drew in the biggest crowd, not only supporting the Foundation but getting to enjoy the generous donations from local organizations, which ranged from tickets to local theatre events to a weekend stay in a condominium in New York City. Big ticket items in the live auction included a Chef’s Dinner at the RiverCentre, $5000 worth of carpet from Hamernick’s Interior Solutions, and a Giraffe Feeding at Como Zoo! Every guest walked away a winner as tickets included a complimentary beer glass, courtesy of the Beer Dabbler, and a wine glass, courtesy of Roseville Visitors Association!
The evening was a great success for the Saint Paul Festival & Heritage Foundation and a wonderful opportunity for guests to meet and re-connect with Carnival friends and community members from throughout Saint Paul.
We want to thank everyone who attended, donated and participated in this year’s event, making it a fantastic evening!
