It’s getting cold outside, which can mean only one thing – it’s time to get out there and run!
Gather up your thermal underwear and neck warmers and start training today for this annual event celebrating our 140th Winter Carnival!

Runners and walkers will have the opportunity to participate in a NoK (pay to not run), 5K, 10K, 15K, 20K and Kid's Run and go past the Vulcan Snow Park at the same time! Everyone will receive a long-sleeved 140th Winter Carnival Fire & Ice Run Shirt, your choice of one of the 2026 Winter Carnival Buttons, and post-race snacks. Kids receive a beanie hat instead of a shirt.

5K / 1 Loop Course through the MN State Fairgrounds
10K / 2 Loop Course through the MN State Fairgrounds
15K / 3 Loop Course through the MN State Fairgrounds
20K / 4 Loop Course through the MN State Fairgrounds
Kids Run
No K This is where you register to NOT run, but still get the "stuff"! You get all of the swag and none of the sweat!
